Teen Health Center school-based health clinic services in include:
- Diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic illness
- Immunizations
- Treatment of minor injuries
- Physical exams, including work and sport physicals
Services emphasize prevention, as well as early identification and treatment of health concerns.
Although clinics are located in schools, patients do not have to attend that school in order to come into clinic. As long as the patient lives in Galveston County they can come into any clinic in any school. Clinic visits usually take less than an hour and you can usually get an appointment within a week.
